A Night OUT

A nice warm knit to help me survive the extremely cold night with glitter touches to spice things up a little. I really like to pair warm earthy garments together, it creates the perfect contrast for your outfit, and that's what I did with the burgundy leggings and the brown knit. For sparkly looks like this one I wear minimal to zero jewelry, because if you do, it's too much and it's not longer a sophisticated look. To finish it up, my snakeskin boots for an edgy vibe for the night out...

Do you take Fashion to the gym?

I certainly do! This is my new neon green sports bra, and I will definitely be wearing it tomorrow for the gym. Cool gym attire motivates me to actually make it to the gym. This vivid-shocking color is perfect for a morning workout, don't you think? You can probably wake up everyone around you... ;) Bring fashion to the gym, use Fashion as a motivation!  Neon colors are great for this, this one is from Target and they have it in every neon color imaginable.

Pastel Day

A beautiful day to wear beautiful pastel colors... I couldn't waste a warmer sunny day  

to wear these "candy" colors! You all know that pastels and neons are the major colors for this coming Spring and Summer, so start bringing out all those light pink, blue, yellow and green garments out of your closet, or most excitingly go ahead and do some shopping ;) This light pink cardigan is been in my closet for a long time and this is just the second time that I have wear it. It's kinda of complicated to pair light pink garments and not look like a little girl, especially if the color is not in season. But now it is! I like the idea of mixing pastels with metallics, what do you think?

Burberry Prorsum Crush

The Burberry Prorsum RTW A/W 2012 show became a reality today during LFW, and I have to say, I'm in love. It is an unbelievable collection, from Heritage jackets, corduroy, velvet and mint coats, lace skirts, and amazing accessories. The peplum detail in both the coats and the skirts gives the perfect sophisticated lady-like touch. This silhouette has been brought back to fashion, and it has become one of the major trends for this coming Fall. This collection is definitely inspired by the 40s; the cuts, the skirt length, the shoes and the peplum silhouette. The garment that has left me speechless was the Tonic Striped Down-Filled Coat shown in the picture above; when Valerija Kelava started walking down the runway, I was immediately confused, is it a dress or coat? It is so well tailored that it gives you a dress feeling. Metallic animal details are found in belts and bags. The wolf one is amazing, but is probably because I'm bias, I'm currently obsessing about them. Another cool detail, the owl shirts and sweaters, so cute! Thank you Christopher Bailey; Yes, I have a Burberry CRUSH!

Snow

 

It snowed intensely last weekend, of course I don't have a problem with it except when I'm going to drive. Actually I try my hardest to not do it. I really wanted to wear this type of outfit, specially this pants paired with the tights, however I didn't have a great time in it, I was becoming an icicle. So I decided to keep being human, and I went inside after the incredible long time of 15 minutes. I think they were worth it though. I love the touch that snow gives to pictures, all that brightness! What do you say?

Manolo Blahnik for TOUS

The Campari design by Manolo Blahnik now as a necklace. Carrie Bradshaw was completely obsessed with Manolo's shoes through the entire Sex & The City series. She called the Campari pair "an urban shoe myth", basically because it is consider a classic and it could not be found anywhere during the 90's. The Campari shoe was released again in 2009, a long wait for the Manolo-obsessed like Carrie.

Now, for those Manolo-obsessed out there, there are some good news; Manolo Blahnik for TOUS. A fantastic collaboration that resulted in the Campari shoe as a gorgeous, sophisticated and minimalistic necklace. I have always been in love with TOUS jewelry, and I think it is very obvious, you can tell with my outfit posts. There is always a TOUS design on me. But this collaboration is just the cherry on top, I'm dying to get my hands on the black and red one, or let me just say, my neck!

Floral & Color Revolution

Spring & Summer must haves; FLORAL PRINTS, NEON and PASTEL garments. These are some of the garments in my S/S wish-list, some I can afford, others I can't, but you know there is nothing wrong in dreaming :) I just keep thinking; some day, some day! Anyways, if you don't have any of these types of garments, you must must have one... Spring is around the corner! Get colorful, get floral!

Estos son algunos de los "garments" en mi lista de favoritos; algunos los puedo comprar otros no, pero ustedes saben, no hay nada malo en soñar :) Yo seguiré pensando; ¡algún día! De todas formas, si todavía no tienen alguno de estos"garments", deben tener uno ya... ¡La primavera esta de vuelta a la esquina! ¡Sean coloridos!

Black Shine

Sequins with a serious twist... A while a go I decided to pair up my lovely sequins skirt with more serious garments, nothing flashy or colorful. Definitely a while a go because if I would have done the bare leg thing now, I would probably be sick in bed right now. Anyways, going back to the look; an almost black one, which some times can be edgy and sexy but other times can be serious and uptight. This time, I could say is a mix of both, no too edgy, not too serious. What do you think?

Lentejuelas con tendencia seria... Hace un tiempo atrás decidí combinar my hermosa falda de lentejuelas con "garments" mas serios, nada brilloso o colorido. Esto ocurrió definitivamente hace un tiempo atrás, ya que si hubiera andando sin cubrirme las piernas probablemente estaria ahora mismo enferma en mi cama . De todas formas, devuelta al look, uno casi completo negro, el cual muchas veces puede ser uno edgy y sexy, pero otras veces uno bastante serio. Esta vez puedo decir que es una mezcla de los dos, no demasiado edgy, ni demasiado serio. ¿Que opinan?
